1965 850cc - 'Re-registered 23 January 1998' stamped on the RF60, which was presumably when the first V5 was issued. Would of thought quite late in the day for an active car (as opposed to a err... 'barn find')

Little details like the mirror and even door gaps suggests it is original and worth sorting though

Oh the last picture before the Blue mini he will be selling, the bracket that goes from the rear bulkhead to the middle of the boot floor. I was looking a the C or D post that had no brackets on it.Lakeland997 wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 3:58 pmThere are inner and outer fixings of some kind at the bottom of the rear bulkhead. There are no seat belt mounts in the rear
It also has the small strengthening panels where the rear bulkhead/boot floor/wheel arches triangulate so no not a early shell

That lower bracket was for export market cars I think.

Agree, the center brace and corner strengtheners were standard for rear lap belts on export cars ~1967 onward (well before the top mount for shoulder diagonal on C post was introduced in the 70's/80's). Prior to the weld-in braces/strengtheners, 2½ inch hardened steel washers were used as load spreaders for dealer installed lap belts.

Another global record - Set of Carello Innocenti Cooper Headlights, with the irreplaceable rubber grommet for the cables missing

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
I also don't see a Carello logo on the rings, they look a touch ripply too so they've either been rechromed badly or they're cheap copies. And like you say the unobtainium part is missing! I think I bought a pair the lamps themselves at Techno Classica in Essen years ago for 80 euros and thought that was a bit steep (but hey ho they looked like new). I reused my bowls and bought a sack of the main rubbers at IMM in Belgium from an Italian for 12 euros; sadly the grommets that go in the back of the bowls for the wires look like burnt marshmallows...MiNiKiN wrote: ↑Wed May 26, 2021 12:08 pm Another global record - Set of Carello Innocenti Cooper Headlights, with the irreplaceable rubber grommet for the cables missing

Been advertised for a little while, I think on car and classic.
Getting closer to original might help command the price ?

Looks like there is a lot of moisture/water damage to the thermostat end of the manifold face and the engine/deck face?
Certainly is an interesting item though.
