Re: Prescott Mini Festival 22nd May 2021
Apparently the Scrutineers have suddenly informed competitors (like Mark!) one day before the event that non roadgoing cars must have MSA logbooks. .They are offering to logbook any such cars in the morning.

I enjoyed Mr Chumley warner telling me all about paddy Hopkins rally successes
I may be biased, but I think the entire commentary on the live feed is Fricken DIABOLICAL!

Tim Harber wasn’t allowed to run his Biota either. Are Prescott just trying to piss the entire Mini community off!? If so they’re doing a sterling job of it dear boy.

Loved the recommendation of the valet service and delicious food at the Ritz when a Mini Ritz came to the start line.

If ever you wanted to put anybody under the age of 80 off getting even remotely involved in old cars for life this is definitely the way to do it.

Re scrutineering. I have just heard that a GTM was not allowed to run because he had a diagonal in his roll cage & someone else was knocked back for having no cushions on their back seat.
All scrutineering has certainly been done to the ABSLOUTE letter of any & all possible rules & regs.

I'm making a bit of a whooly of that at the moment.
You certainly are!

Re: Prescott Mini Festival 22nd May 2021
They were all my commentary notes he read out to all the wrong cars. Including yours Mark and you weren’t even there. He talked about my GP3 at Shelsley Walsh but said it was somebody else! Well at least there’s a strong comedy element!
