Nearly there only the interior and a small bit of trimming to do and the Chrome work and hopefully getting it to Beaulieu.

Looks fantastic. Years ago, I read as a boy about the Arden 8 port conversion - "A mouthful of Amals", in I think Mini Muscle Cars. I recall the story about using the car to pick up his date and as the car had stood a while, the driver had to get out and tickle the carburettors to get it started and the smell of 100 octane fuel permeated the cabin. Always wanted that car.

Strangely enough SMMC build the engine in the surf blue car and the current one in VOH

Yes and I nice job smmc did as per usual, just need to get it to smmc to get it set up on the rolling road.

VOH still around then? Excellent. You built the engine in mine too but that's a bit tame in comparison :lol:
