Made by "CUD", same manufactures as original Downton ones. They also made the "Alexander" gear knobs.

Great little company offering superb products, sadly no longer with us.

Both the versions below are Downton fobs, the one with the printed address is very early, it has a Rolls Royce logo on the front. The second type was from 1962 ish to the bitter end.

I used to have a wood and picket one like on page 3... cant remember which car it got sold with though

unless i do still have it somewhere!?

ive been on the lookout for a nice one for the 1300... although ill prob just go for a repro and rough it up a bit! ha!

I thought the "FS" on Mini keys meant "Full Service" i.e. a key with FS on it would open any Mini door lock. Any key seems to work on my cars

In my university days I started an MGB, Vauxhall Victor and 'grey' Ferguson tractor all with my mini key. The fergy had the best handling and performance of the three.

I should add that I didn't go to uni in the '60s, they were all well and truly 'classics' by that stage. I'm not sure why the contractors still had the old fergy though. Either way, they shouldn't have left it parked there at that time of night...
