The screen on my mate Wil Ker's very fast 998 Turbo hillclimber was held in with gaffer tape for some considerable time. I thought everyone knew that Gaffer tape constituted a "structural fix"

Circa 1991 Myk Cable rolled into the pre race collection area at Thruxton with his miglia taped up as per the photo above. There was much moaning and running around by members of the Mini Se7en club who didn’t understand Myk’s sense of humour. He obviously removed it before the race.
