76 Anton Rally. Looking for details.

I would like some help getting information on this race the sticker is from. Here is what I know.
“Anton Rally” was held in February of 1976 by the “Taskers valley motor club”.
I beleive but not certain it was held in the area around “Marlborough” and went over the Kennet and Avon Canal.
What I would like to find out; a map of the rally. Pictures if any. I was told some pics were taken and distributed to drivers. Any original maps or programs etc. Thanks.

Well, I can say that many of the road bridges over the K&A between Devizes and Newbury are single track, so we are looking at only a few bridges. Without any obvious scenery to be seen its tricky, but I'd take a trip on Google streetview as that will eliminate some. I havent frequented that patch since I left that area in '76, but I'll venture few bridges have been fundamentally rebuilt.
I'll start you off with due south out of Marlborough, throght Cadley and you have the canal and rail bridges with a hairy bend. On the canal just before the Savernake Tunnel W portal.

Just needed to check - Devizes Motor Club is the obvious candidate for this area, and they have been about since the dawn of time, '76 was just after their affiliation to the RAC, so there are two paths you may find helpful...

Thanks. I did a streetview of quite an area, and have about 6-8 bridges over the canal as either a maybe or strong maybe. I am hoping a rally route or map eventually surfaces to assist. i have no idea how far west or east i should be looking. I will look up the Devizes Motor Club, maybe they have some information going back that far. This would have been an amateur rally.
