Right hand petrol tank vent pipe

Post by ricardo »

If I'm not mistaken, the first hole (no grommet) is for the petrol hose and the second one (with grommet) is for the petrol pump wires. So where does the right hand tank vent hose passes through the boot floor?

The vent goes through the same grommet as the wire for the fuel pump.

Thanks guys! That's what I was expecting as I knew the boot floor should only have 2 holes in that area. However, having an independent hole for the left tank vent pipe next to the battery cable and being the fuel pump wiring so tight right now through the grommet, I was secretely hoping for another answer...

I guess I should use a pipe with a thick wall so it doesn't get strangled passing through the grommet.

Anyway, thanks again for clarifying!

Hi! The pipe should be hard nylon, you shouldn't have any problem with that. :)
