You can recommission it for me to use this summer, I might let you borrow it!
It’s going into store for later..

I came to the conclusion that I would need to buy a van over a Moke - main reason being you can’t sleep in a Moke when the wife kicks you out of the house!

I'm lucky, I have a van already.

Obviously it's broken, but hey, I've got it.

Lock down for me has been an odd time, I’ve never had this much time off since I was at school so I’ve made the best of a bad situation.
The GT has gone from flatting and polishing a new shell to a built car and now smmc have provided a built engine, the engine was for this moke but the GT can borrow it for now.
The S engine for my mk1 SDL with all the toys is now all here and ready to finish assembling..
The scruffy mk1 moke is out of storage, recommission, painted (badly) and now almost working..
Just to really make me smile Paul is doing the other MK1 moke😀

I now forget what I started with, a crumbling mess that was falling through the trailer.
The replacement shell was much better, price wise a moke panels new shell would have been a similar price after the restoration..
Hopefully the nice part is about to begin ..

It’s home,
it’s not as perfect as the last one but that’s because it’s not new..
I’m very happy!

Well it’s rolling, it’s off to store for a bit now😒
The racing season is starting and just to add to the chaos we are doing roof repairs and complete new kitchen!
I am determined to keep this one but as I enjoy building cars I may build another new one over the winter just to keep me occupied..

Well not much to update hopefully castle Combe will give me some enthusiasm, I did pick up the gearbox today and I’m picking up the engine next weekend..
Unfortunately project new kitchen got in the way both with time and mini fund £ we finished up starting again floor to roof a painful experience..
Anyway hopefully the moke will be out of store and I can enjoy myself soon building cars..
