Yes it was taken at Zandvoort, where the '65 Broadspeed teamcars ended up aswell! (not the same owner tough).
And the picture of 2C looks very similar to the car, could it be? The cars sold to Holland normaly had the Reg. plates and usualy the paperwork remained in GB in hands of the former owners (as you couldn't register a GB car on a Dutch adress) Could somebody use the paperwork to create fakes then??

A lot of original race cars did end up in Holland - as did the Broadspeed GTS.
Is this where the real BOP cars ended up then?

In one of the pictures on page 1 it has a roll bar, while on the other it doesn't. Obviously it means nothing as it could have been fitted later... it's just one more difference between the 2 pictures.

The BOP242C and BOP234C teamcars ended up in Holland and a guy called Hildebrand that was a close friend of Fitzpatrick raced a Broadspeed teamcar in '66 overhere aswell in the formule Libre. In this class you where allowed to race with alloy panels, oversized engines ect, it was one of the Ilford challange cars form Broadspeed.
Rob Slotemaker raced here with Downton cars and even John Aley had a race team overhere.
So a lot of "used" race coopers got a second third and even fourth live here before "dying" in Rallycross.
On the rallycross part that was on television here even before your BBC had it a factory team called British Leyland Netherlands had mr Hugh Weldon that drove the 4wd special tuning clubman painted white with BLN team on it.

As Simon stated the interiour mirror is pre '66 and the roll over bar was just coming in to use aroud '67/'68 here in holland so he could have installed that, the door handles could have been a later addition aswell, later in '69 het mk2'ed the car and even fitted a mk2 grill and one race the top part flew off(because there wasn't any lip to attach it to).

Bit tenous some might say but this car's got the same kink on the grille and what looks like that odd bonnet fixing (I've trawled through shots of CCC cars and these two details are unique to this car and the ex team car in the first post on this thread)
That same bonnet spring on this shot, all the same car I reckon as it's so unusual and with the development 8 port engine which also ties in with Jack's story ..
Also you can see this car looks to have been originally Tweed Grey and the rear seat in ex team car in the first post does look grey, certainly not red..

Where do i start; somewhere in the stack of pictures of the guy that bought the car was a picture of a fuelinjected engine, i didn't see the meaning of it because he never had a car fitted with one. Seeing all now i think he took the picture when het tested the car before buying of the engine fitted at the time, i haven't got that picture but i seem to remember there was a 5 painted on the bulkhead. Could the car have been a testbed for engine's and maybe even for striping to be used for the 1968 seazon?
He raced the car as pictured only once or twice after then it changed to this;
for 1969 it looked like this;

Early 1966 (februari) the two BOP cars where flown in and directly tested at Zandvoort;
Here's a pic from a newspaper cutting;
Its behind the pits at the Zandvoort circuit
And here's one of BOP243C coming thrue the Gerlachbocht before going up the Hunzerug
The cars where painted white(the team colours) shortly after the picture was taken.
Last but not least a picture of the third car that allso came to Holland in 1966 but stayed in the Broadspeed colours and was raced by mr. Hildebrand;
The no 57 is BOP 242C no59 is COE????56 is a John Aley team car the white car behind thatone is BOP243C.
