Date Coding Parts

Further to my earlier post on this subject I wonder if there's a date in either of these Lucas numbers HF 1849 horn, RB 106 or 37290F voltage regulator both circa early 60's.

Yes. Both should be dated MM/YY.

I don't see any other external markings, would they be somewhere inside?

The RB106 should be easy to see, engraved in the Bakelite. The early horn is more difficult. You need to undo the screw and then examine the metal band that the screws fixes to. The date is stamped on that.
