LHD Cooper choke/heater cables positioning

I've been through a lot of pictures of LHD restored and unrestored cars and can't get if the choke/heater cables position was originally the same as RHD cars (heater on the left, choke on the right). The 850's have the same position, because of the bigger hole for the rheostat, but the Coopers seem to have no pattern? Can anybody help?
