Here is another shot of Nick's car with Ted and friends from abroad. This was our small Mini show at the barn.

Nick, that was the very moment I checking out Nick's car with our President! He praised it a lot!

I did not ask, but I love seeing it ♥ :!:
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s :ugeek:

I did not ask, either, but just discovered this thread through your bump, Nick. Very nice car!

One question: What type of boost gauge do you use? Do you have a closeup of this gauge? Is it an instrument from an airplane?

Cheers, Mike

Yes it's from a hurricane or something similar, discussed here.

Thanks for that 66Traveller, I would have missed this car otherwise. What a fantastic build. Nick W did you ever fit the SPQR? I can see that as the finishing touch on an already brilliant looking car.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

Not quite sure how this car / thread passed me by?

That is Ace! What a great thing, and subtly done.

Quite understandable - it would have meant holes in original veltone as well!
