yer ,good comparison,,tho ones the earliest known smoke grey super deluxe,, built oct 62 the other one is an earlier deluxe spec of mar 62 vintage

not really,,
i should have binned 814cwe in 1984,,but i just left it standing and came back to it years later while i enjoyed other stuff,
prob is its been such a git to recomission,,
never had to overhaul soo much stuff in my life,,,oh,,and the bits of welding too..
building a new engine for it at mo,,its a tad grumbly on the mains,,but it was a scrapyard engine fitted in 1971 so its done ok i suppose.
