Count me in on organisation for Shelsley Walsh if needed either side of the 2021 Le Mans event weeks.
We will have something sensible to bring along by then.

Trevor,

I assume you aren't referring to your Bus. By no means can that be described as sensible

I’ve clearly not learned from last year’s debacle  because I’m also talking to Shelsley Walsh about a big Mini bash there next year in July aswell which is looking VERY promising, very much like I did with them in 2013 where we crowbarred 22 Minis onto the entry list and got the Goodliff Vita Minisprint, Trev’s Vita Mini etc .

If anyone here s interested please let me know if you’d like to get involved with these events.
Hi Pete

Would love to come along to Shelsley, it’s my local hillclimb and I’m a MAC member anyway. Can bring the Cooper if there’s room or help out if not.

Tim.

Trevor if you’ve got any of your cars available or even the truck(?!) there’ll certainly be room and Tim you’ll be able to compete aswell as there’ll be a huge Mini class. That goes for the Yorkshire event aswell Trevor!

At the risk of turning into some sort of unpaid events manager - to add to Yorkshire in June and Shelsley in July I’ve been approached today about a very exciting event idea which will take place in either August or September and be a stand alone Mini event with a strong Hillclimb element at a fantastic venue. More on this very soon!

Message to the 'Events Manager'...
I will do my best for both events, might be a pile of disconnected bits though.
Alex would like to enter Murph's old car into the Hillclimbs at both events too.

They had so much response they’re inviting cars for the Mini class. You are both on the shortlist and should get some news pretty soon. It’s more a spectator event than usual so I do get that.

Hopefully all the competitors got their invites today as they were all emailed out by Max at YMF. They just couldn’t squeeze everybody in but all those that didn’t will be on the reserve list. Ta.

Half price tickets to Clubs (including Mk1 P group). There will be a number/code you will all be able to enter once they know how many...
If anyone display’s for three days it’s free of charge and camping is free to all entrants.
The ticket offer for general public will finish in three days.

I managed to stretch the Mini Hillclimb class to 15 cars in the end and tried my best to get everyone in but it’s well oversubscribed so they’ve gone for variety. Most will have heard by now if they’ve got an entry or not. There’s a reserve list aswell.
