TBH Nick, I don't really know, I was pretty much guessing.

I'm sure that someone will know.

Mark is most probably right Triplex supplied the push pull illuminated switch (B) with the screen if ordered with the screen, and the rotary timer switch.
Switch b > https://www.holden.co.uk/p/illuminated- ... h-spb101-1 they were possibly better quality though?

Thanks for answers about the switches. I've got plenty more questions :?
What type of head lamp dip switch on 569FMO (if that's what it is) on the steering colume?

Said to be Riley Pathfinder (which ceased production in 1957?)(but was built at Abingdon) and BL1800 later on.

Great pictures Pete!
I'd say both EJB and one of the FMO cars...small fuse box on the left for EJB
First 3 shots are 569 FMO
Last 2 33 EJB
You can clearly see the interior mirror has the metal clips holding the glass in like a jemca mirror?

Yes it did have the top area of the light masked in silver, but was done after the Monte... so probably only when it was used for publicity

The Duck tape on the headlamp covers was a later innovation, and was intended to stop upward glare in fog. But it didn't really catch on, and only made it to a couple of cars, or at least the ones that expected fog on event.

You can see that the roof light on this post Monte image has the blanking plates in place. Note the tax disc has moved to the door.
