Just wanted to flag up Jawel paints in Smethwick West Midlands
They have just supplied me with Island Blue Raptor and most importantly 1955 Triumph British Racing Green matched exactly to a very small sample from a panel cut from the car. Nothing special in that unless you realise that there were very many versions of BRG back at that time and notoriously difficult to know which one you had.
Old paint codes from then no longer translate to modern colour schemes and there are no direct cross references... believe me I have tried and tried.
Hats off to those guys superb match and superb service.
