Haha wow, that's something I believe my father would refer to as "a christmas tree"
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

"Character always wins" ... "There's nothing like it" ...
Mini advertising from the Netherlands c.1976 ...
("Toch maar mooi ..." translates loosely as "Still making great cars ...")

Re: Old Period Ads
Morris Mascot 95 commercials brochure - Denmark 1980.
- with another of those interesting export oddities - a "window van".
"All Mini models in Denmark were marketed as "Morris Mascot" at this time*. This Danish brochure for the commercial versions features a van with rear side windows alongside the regular van and pick-up familiar in the UK.
Just like UK market Mini commercials, these vehicles retain the Mk1 front end and doors with external hinges and sliding windows, but unlike UK market vehicles they have wheel arch extensions and side indicator repeaters, to comply with local regulations. Also (on the vans) a panel behind door specifying max load weight."
* At launch in 1960 the Mini was sold in Denmark as Morris Mascot or Austin Partner. The Austin Partner later became simply the Austin Mini but was dropped in 1972. From 1972 onwards all Minis in Denmark were part of the Morris Mascot family.
