I thought there was something wrong with my eyes there for a minute...! Also has the wrong grille and there's no brightwork round the tops of the doors.... should the carpet be red or grey...?

There are a few Mk1 and Mk2 998 Coopers that have been sat around for ages in the same price bracket.

Nice car, but a few things to correct: the mirrors on the doors, the mk.3-on scuttle panel (extra wiper holes), the red carpet and the mesh grille on the bulkhead instead of the fresh air trunk. And the wheels...

I think it would look better with a black roof rather than a white one, still not 'right' but a complete repaint into Tweed Grey below the gutter would be expensive.

Does it have incorrect rear view mirror and an interior light which shouldn't be there?

At Bonhams Biecester sale on Sep 20th are

This one owner van. Note the over sills and jacking damage to left hand side. May warrant a good inspection.

And this Radford. It's a 1990s versions so a cheap to buy into the Radford mystique.

I think the sellers assessment score of the van is a bit generous!

Sadly, some arse will restore it.

That wants the absolute bare minimum to avoid ruining it.

Yep mirror is too modern for that car and the interior light appears to be in an unusual place, still like it though!

Some nice stuff in that auction. Black RSP Cooper, 3.8 Mk2 Jaguar and 1948 Series 1 Landrover all took my fancy :D
