Here's the car earlier this year in all its glory. Not to everyones taste i'm sure and a bit rougher around the edges than it looks in the pic.

Not sure yet, depends how things pan out with friends/family but yeh, the two together would look pretty nifty.sr001 wrote:Now that sounds like a planWho will be taking the hot seat?

I've fitted a cage, std safety devices with my own additions, a pair of britax harnesses and a pair of restalls will soon replace the std seats. Still not sure on the sump gaurd. TBH i have tried to keep the car looking std and like a early '60 car where possible, only making modification to suit the desired use of road rallies, hill climb and general fun.sr001 wrote:What have you done/are doing about things like seats, harnesses, cage & sumpguard in RFO?

I'm sure I could accomodate you.cookie1071 wrote: I have lots of questions but they're probably more easily answered with the car in front of us - any chance of a sneak preview if i'm passing your way??![]()

PS That floor start's not too close the exhaust is it??
OK cool and yeh just thought i'd ask about the starter as i had a bit of a bonfiresr001 wrote: I'm sure I could accomodate you.
Although its it looks tight in the photo there is comfortable clearance. I was planning on skidding the bulge in the floor to prevent any damage on rough ground, but I think its well enough out the way.

Can't wait to get it back in the car and put a few miles on her before the winter sets in. If all goes well, the car will then be out on my rally on 10th March
, although not with me in it as that would be silly cos i'd know where to go!
