I had a hard time finding the 1.2mm pistons rings for these std size pistons. At last a set came up on ebay, but I do not like the design of the 4 piece oil control rings. So a second set of pistonrings came into use with the common 3 piece design.

The white stuff....... looks like it's been used for smuggling cocaine!!!!!

My Inno cooper from Italy had the same sort of white powdery stuff all over its rear subframe - AND I did come up with the exact same tale of where it came from. Two fools, one thought

Apart from that - what a great find, the right attitude to keeping all the period stuff where possible and and deffo my favorite project here

Titan 1.3 roller rockers fitted, these came with the car, so must be at least 36 years old now, when did these rockers appear on the market ?
