Calliper banjo bolt

Post by Dearg1275 »

Didn’t know quite what to call this, but it’s the bolt with a fluid passage next to the bleed nipple and closes the drilling for the fluid galleries.

Does anyone know where I can get replacements. As you can see this one is heavily corroded and to get it out I had to drive on a metric socket two sizes smaller. I’m not really happy to reuse it!

I’ve emailed 920 E. Fairly predictably I have not had even the courtesy of a reply.

I suppose this is a bit of a wanted plea too.

This will also work, but you have cut/turn the end to make it a little shorter.

I take this back. A week on from my email I decided to just use the old fashion telephone. I left a message with a chap in the gearbox department who said he would pass the message on. Half an hour later I had a call. Another half hour passed while the drawings were pulled to check what was required and today I had a call to say that a pair of bolts were in the post and just make a donation to charity.

Thanks to Paul and John at 920 E. It seems they use a Shiftec.com email address. 👍
