Good job you left the gutters in place when you "sprinted " it!

I once took the mini when I went to buy 2 4'x2' sheets of 1/2" plywood - no roofrack, I had to get them in the car. took ages, but I got them both in. from memory, I had to remove at least one of the seats to get it all in, then refit the seat. I may also have developed a crick in my neck.

My own Spi Cooper carrying 12 1500x450x15 mm OAK shelves ...
Road holding was a bit unusual, somewhat Citroën like !!

A 4' X 8' sheet of plywood fits quite nicely inside a Mini.....

If you cut it in small enough pieces.

A pal of mine moved a greenhouse with his mini years ago. Took out the back windows, put two 4x2's through front and back windows, strapped the greenhouse on top and away he went! Wish i'd taken a photo now.

It was one of those f**k it moments. Take it all to bit's for a 2 mile (Collingham to Boston) journey or be lazy / improvise. There only gonna be one winner. We did take the greenhouse front panel out so he could see.
I still chuckle now thinking about it.
