I did make an effort to take a pic on every event, my Dad came to most and I always gave my girlfriend or wife of the time a camera, plus any professional photographers that would send and sell you pics, and my Dad always kept a programme, i also used to write a new letter for a local motor club, so i still have copies of them, and plus its amazing what you can find on the internet, especially Harewood and Barbon

Ive sorta lost my mojo with cars, only just back to work after 12 weeks, sold my tow and road cars and im running round in a £100 Berlingo at the moment

hopefully things will reignite with me when next year kicks in !

Been a long time since I updated my thread ! what with covid, a heart attack then other cars taking precedence, and because of that KEC has pretty much sat it my garage since August 2019, other than a couple of car shows, i decided it needed a run out so entered my local Barbon Hillclimb in it a couple of weeks ago, changed the oil and washed it and it seemed ready to go a run up the road proved that and all looked good ... apart from there was a resonation through the car, i had felt it before, but with competing in two other cars recently i just thought thats how it was
first run up the hill and it just didn't seem to pull, but again i had been driving other cars, but the time wasn't particular good, next run i heard the resonation getting worse, yet the oil pressure was good but now there was a distinct rattle, end of day for KEC, stuck it on the trailer and I shared our other entry with Nick in the Proton for the rest of the day, which he beat me again for the third time !

so yet again its stuck in the garage, haven't even looked at it yet, but i feel another big engine rebuild coming on, its third in 13 events !!
