Just spotted this on the Bonhams website:
http://www.bonhams.com/eur/auction/19289/lot/214/#
I've always liked this car and the fact the nature of its rebuild is widely known.
Better go and get a lottery ticket - there's some lovely stuff in the auction - http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.s ... blicSite.r

Re: DJB 93B up for sale again
I preferred the one I knew.
"As the early BMC roll-bar with single rear stay no longer complies with FIA/MSA safety requirements..."
...and there was me thinking there were no FIA roll-bar safety standards (or requirements at all) when the original DJB93B was rallied. Wonder how I got away without?
It's nature didn't seem all that well known to the auction house advertising it last time it was for sale, since it was withdrawn from sale when I asked a them question."As the early BMC roll-bar with single rear stay no longer complies with FIA/MSA safety requirements..."
