not started for 20 odd years
clean the points, prime the fuel pumps, wriggle the pump points (su pumps ), crank it for 30 seconds, put the coil lead back in, press stater and WHAM!, fires into life, press clutch, put into gear and drive away - want to stop? - press the brake pedal.
it was a lot simpler in the old days!, no hydraulics to seize up, no brake pipes to rot away etc!
admitadly it has got some fierce back lash in the timing gears, which does allow the dizzy to float by about ten degress - and its an engine out job to fix.
for extra points, notice its covered in the same green vinyl used on 1960's bmc seats - good job it hadnt been trimmed in gold brocade!
