Lots of People wanting to see the NEC Stage .. OK was worth the effort to get there through the NEC Crowds & my young Grandson enjoyed looking at the Rally.. but i though the stage itself was not that impressive as a Rally challenge with a quick zoom on the NEC inside Hall Floor.

Great win for Steve (and Mark, and 6EMO). I’m totally in awe of how a crew can maintain that level of performance and consistency over an event of this length.

Brilliant result for Steve and Mark , that looked like a tough event and proves the mini in the right hands can be compeditive . well done guys .

That was a tough rally! Saturday evening was the toughest I can recall doing in 28 years of rallying,6 EMO performed brilliantly, an absolute credit to Mick Anderson of MiniSport who prepared it. Mark Appleton was fantastic in the left-hand seat, always calm no matter what the situation, four years of trying and just missing out on the top step, but did it in the Mini's 60th year. :D

Next Monday the car is going unwashed to sit on display in the rotunda at RAC Pall Mall in time for the Historic Motorsport awards, pretty cool that. :D 8-)
