There aren't. . . . . I have been checking regularly for years.

Really nice fobs are RARE!

But sometimes you do drop on a bargain. My best one was a very rare & very early Downton fob with a Rolls Royce logo & their original address on it.
Picture please ?? :o
DOWNTON Mini is what I like a lot.
Collecting 60th wooden steeringwheels.

I agree with you, VERY rare :o

I took a chance with the Wood & Pickett fob on Ebay, as it was listed as "new" he he
The vendor only put a picture, of the front, on the auction ;)
So it was a very pleasent surprice, when it arrived, and had the Park Royal address, with the correct phone no 8-)
Later George in Holland (Eurods/WP) confirmed, that it was exactly this type of keyfob,
he bought from Eddie Collins at W&P, in 1973 :ugeek:

I did some research on this the last time it was up for sale, the information I have is that it isn't an S&A car, it was a home made conversion ( I'm sure Jens will back this up as he has the same information as me) :)

Yes , this is not a S&A, neither a Neville Trickett job.
This is built by 2 English guys in the 70ies.
One is a wellknown Sprint owner, with strong links to MCR, he showed me pictures of this car at Beaulieu.
These were taken in the 70ies, just after they just finished building it.
He also told me how they did it, and that it had ideas/details from Radford/S&A/W&P.

I was in on the conversations the seller had with Nev. After much Uming & Arghing (before the info from Jens & Mark came to light) we came to the conclusion that it COULD be an S&A car. I did pass the further info on to Neville, but after saying it wasn't one of his but it "COULD" be an S&A one he didn't feel it was right for him to go back on his word.

it may be my eyes, but is the roof chop on this just that? - a (partial) chop - it looks like the rear pillers are the same and the roof is longer, rather than the roof been the same size and the pillers canted in.

its a poor photo, so cannot be 100%.

either way, those doors are weapons grade shite! - dexion for the win!

Both halves are chopped, he has given the dimensions in a couple of the images.

sorry, i wasnt very clear

in the photo it looks as if all six pillars are chopped, but it looks as if the roof has been made longer to match the original position of the rear pillars, rather then the pillers been canted in to match the std roof.

look at how long the upper edge of the rear window is....it looks almost the same length as the lower, so the window looks virtually square.

its a poor photo, but something looks cockeyed with it.

i cant put my finger on it.

Well, I have to say I did not bid on that key fob, that should have been under the WTF post, and it still did'nt meet its reserve, I bought a National Benzole one (old guys will know what I mean) for £3.50 instead.

I did say I would like one but I am not selling a car to buy one.....
