Re: bus
Thats our minivan in the back of the coach. When i told Rich that i needed to get the van to the Goodwood Revival to have in the paddock and that i was struggling as i had already got two cars to get there, his reply was;
"HOLD ON LADS IVE GOT AN IDEA"
Top men our Rich and Fish Thank you lads

Re: bus
the bus is moving on slowly
it runs and moves again, but is now out of mot - a bit of a problem as it could do with a run to settle down before its retested - im going to have to 'get lost' on the way to the test station i think
however, its decided that im not paying it enough attention so paid me back by developing a faulty master key switch - a real pain to swop, but gave me chance to test my new 'quick release' drivers seat - i can now remove the seat in 1/2 hour from the relative comfort of the cab, rather than as before where the bolts passed through the floor - it was 'interesting' trying to hold a spanner on the nut AND turn the socket at the same time! - a three hour job.....
i bought a new 'top quality' 300amp master key and, guess what?, the red key snapped first time i used it - chinese crap!
its also spunked one of its batteries, so its going to need a new pair - arrggg. the last pair where two months out of warrenty - if it had done it in summer it would have been a free set - instead its another £200.......
still, its handy for storing stuff in

Re: bus
holy massive update!
bus - mot'd - check
new water pump - check
rad fixed + cowl fitted - check
no more leaking power steering pipes - check
can get all gears - check
doesnt use any water - check
drives like a good-un! - check.
went for a 40 mile drive yesterday in it, had a race with a bloke in a routemaster - he lost
stopped in a layby to watch all the classics going past and to have a small snooze
am actually starting to get confidence in doing a few miles in the beast, but someone keeps mithering me to sell it to them........
