Found a set of these in my garage, although they look nice, they had a lot of corrosion under the paint.

I sandblasted them after work Monday this week, took some time, as the paint was thick

Tuesday they were glass blasted, at a friends place, and yesterday, they where painted with zinc spray and primer

The white stuff....... looks like it's been used for smuggling cocaine!!!!! Probably chalky dust from a hard rally in the rain that's now solidified

Parts blasted and painted

New seals and stainless pistons. Bolts are ARP con rod bolts, from a Ford race engine

cleaned the sills, and painted with epoxy primer

[e-type]

11 of the 4,5" Cooper S wheels came with the car, but not all where perfectly round

This must be appropriate top coat for the sills on a rally car

I had to do some preservation of the front floors, so it is now a bit to shiny

All the strengthening of the shell, makes it heavy. So I have fitted this old war item, that goes well with the patina on the car.

Got these parts back from blasting and powder coating a week ago.

Now the subframes are back on the car. Front is now fitted with this periode correct Hi lo kit.
