Mini Midas - Chassis number 1
Just bought the very first Midas from a very nice man.
Car was the prototype and factory hack for testing bits. Registration CNC 297T. Whilst owned by the factory they changed the front for the MK2 version. The intention is to now change the car back to the spec when it first run and as pictured in bright red.
If anyone has pictures or information re the car, it would be really appreciated if you could forward, as need all the help I can get to make sure it is put back to as it was.
The list at moment is pictures, Huntsman seats and Cosmic wheels. Will place an ad in wanted section of forum.

Re: Mini Midas - Chassis number 1
Can you post some pictures?
Wasn't Midas No1 adapted from a Mk4 marcos.
Sure saw some pictures posted somewhere in one of the mini books sometime ago?
Will need to dig through them again.
Regards
Gary

The vehicle logbook shows as Mini Marcos.
Seem to be having difficulty with pictures. Looks easy but cannot get to work from my Google Photo album. Will try later/over weekend. In meantime here is a link that shows photos - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/top ... &t=1818083 .

Interesting I think I know where number 2 or 3 resides..
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.
