I am very interested i this engine.

Have you read the Latin? Buyer beware, the con rods look like, errrr funny S rods. :shock: 8-)

Don't go around the houses, Ronnie......Sorry to piss on your fire but not only are rods not S they are also in need of some further preparation. Caveat Emptor indeed.

Having said that, if you set yourself a 6000 rev limit and do not race/trackday it, it could last a long time.

Those pockets look a lot more efficient, than any I've seen before. Obviously done by someone who thought about the job..........

Kristian, I have a pocketed 998 thin flange block for sale with std crank, rods, flat top pistons (std circlip fit) and duplex chain. There is a AEA630 cam fitted. It turns by hand but probably needs to be checked. I also have a modified 997 head with 1275 valves that could go with it. If this lot could be of interest, let me know, I could send some pictures.

The thing is that I have to be in Denmark (Aalborg) in September and might be able to arrange that I come by car and bring this stuff with me.
Too many cars...
