beautiful job...wonderful piece of history preserved.
I think the car, pictures and story are worthy
of a book.

Hello again.

After five failed attempts, the car has finaly been accepted to take part in Concorso d Eleganza Villa d Este. One of the top concours Worldwide, and the most historic and prestigious in Europe.

Only fifty cars are selected each year.

The event takes place this weekend. The car was loaded on a truck today and I will see it again on Friday in lake Como.

Wonderfull event. Everything was top level, from the competitors to the judges, the catering, the programme, everything.

it was a fairytale story for the car, from a junkyard nine years ago to the finest concours in the world in nine years.

“it was a fairytale story for the car, from a junkyard nine years ago to the finest concours in the world in nine years.”

This just sums it up for me, what an amazing story and to think this car was sooo close to being lost forever to the scrapper. Truly wonderful that you have a) saved such a car b) made such a damn fine job of restoring it and c) are able to, not only enjoy yourself, but also share with others as such amazing events.

Genuinely really pleased for you, what a story 8-)
