Re: 1965 MK1 Morris Mini Moke 970S
Well, I got board today I almost had to be sociable!
The mokes finished apart from seats, bumpers and rev counter.
Then mot etc I’m sure there will be another jobs list soon.
I’ve fitted some stickers, I especially like the speedwell windscreen sticker bought from the village sign writer at blyton.. nice chap..

It looks even better in the flesh (metal?!) and goes very nicely too.
Re: 1965 MK1 Morris Mini Moke 970S
Did I see on Facebook you were thinking of selling it?
At least use it for the summer first!

Yep it works,
Me and Aaron have completed some test miles and sorted a few small teething problems.
JR & I had a quick spin around the village after a local car show, the rear suspension had settled and there wasn’t any travel left on the shocks. We’re now readjusted and ready to roll again hopefully to stony Stratford show in the morning..
As I’ve always said I’m a car builder not a fantastic driver, however I love the moke, really really love it..so is it for sale..probably.. (There’s not any profit in it we built it because we wanted to) but only after a bit more fun!!
PS thanks Rod & Simon great engine..

Re: 1965 MK1 Morris Mini Moke 970S
I popped the moke to southam this morning for a quick RR it was only to make sure the engine was safe no power runs at this point. Anyway all good running really nicely now.
Thanks to olddave for dropping in a replacement horn at the weekend that’s now painted and on, that’s another job of the list..

Love the Red Line set at just under 9,000rpm that should give Colin & his Rollers a blast when the Moke is Run In
