Mini 7 and Miglia races were on ITV 4 today. Part of the BTCC programme.

Great racing today, better than the BTCC and I think a much wider audience now appreciate that! Padmore - the master of the slipstream and made sure he wasn't in the lead on the last lap so he could slipstream and slingshot into the lead by the finish line as he did so many times at Goodwood.

It was good to see the Mini Seven Club on the telly. Hopefully it will happen more often as the racing is was great.

I gave up after the first three hours of adverts. Never got the racing.

Whoever came up with that Mitsubishi advert needs a kick in the nads.

I wouldn't hold your breath Stuart...no one's going to get rich by promoting a one-make series featuring a car that was discontinued nearly 20 years ago...and still has room in the budget for self-preppers (like most of us) to compete...well, nearly ;)

It must really piss some people off when they put on such good racing though

But if it improves the TV ratings and get more punters through the gate.

BMW are paying next year to have the JCW MINI Challenge as support races for the TOCA package.

"Negotiations for the MINI CHALLENGE to form part of the TOCA package have reached fruition with a multi-year deal to take over the slot vacated by the Renault UK Clio Cup from 2020."
