Getting there. Just noticed on pictures they have taken the door catches off. Am I right in thinking they need painting?

they where left on and painted at the factory.

but you are best to lightly paint then off the car as if painted on they won't adjust very easy, modern paint tend to build up thicker than the 2 coat stuff used back then.

I just touch bits like that up with a fine brush after every thing has been set up.

Yes it has, the roof colour should stop in the roof gutter.

What is the bracket on the rear bulkhead on the RHS that is held on with bolts for and should the boot board brackets be held on with rivets or welded on.Apologies for the questions but I am planning on running twin tanks and a boot board in my 67 and I have nothing to work to as most of it is missing :D Your s looks great by the way.

My board brackets are riveted on and the bolted bracket is to hold the tank strap. Presume it’s original but sure someone on here will know.

67 boot board brackets would be spot welded. Pop rivets correct for a 65.

Yes, I think the bolted tank strap bracket is correct.

Lovely paint job by the way 8-)

Looks like a nice and original 65 S to me. Now the nice bit starts bolting it together. Is she a USA car or a Mainland Europe car.

Pop rivets are also correct for a '66 (at least in my October '66 car, they are original pop rivets).
