Re: LAKE DISTRICT CLASSIC 2011
My first daytime event for a couple of years and the first in the 'orangebox'. Based in penrith a 90 mile route with 12 special tests and 3 regularity sections. car went really well, leading by 7 seconds at lunch halt. A couple of error in the afternoon cost us an outright win, settled for 2nd overall. fastest time on 7 of the 12 twelve tests and never out of the top 3. well happy

Ah he of Lancashire Telegraph fame. I tried to secure his excellent services for our rally this year but the date of the event clashed with an important family engagement.
Fingers crossed bringing it forward a tad will mean he can get across to us next year though.

Be interested to see the Lakeland results if you have them Steve?
Cheers, Niall.
