You could be right Stu, tartan breeches give it away perhaps?? little snippet of local ie., Northumbrian interest, back in 1967 ish, one of them, who was still at Glasgow Academy, came on a gliding course at RAF Ouston, as I drew the short straw of giving him his initial "air experience flights", that evening he very generously bought us all drinks at "The Robin" and we had a good old sing song in the then, backroom. OOOPS starting to sound a bit like Pete

Bingo! We have a winner.

The film has some great day time street footage obviuosly filmed ad-lib. Spotting the Cooper is not easy (around 27 mins in), but there's plenty of other stuff to look out for.

I remember watching the film when BBC2 and Channel 4 were showing a whole load of cult stuff in the early '80s ;)

I was rummaging through some old Stanford Hall show pics and came across this one from 2009 I took of a lovely '64 1275 S, the reg' number rang a few bells and I remembered it's the car that was featured in a Taurus stage 1 tuning kit review in 'Car & Car Conversions' back in July '65...
