Are these carbs worth purchasing?

I know a couple of people who have used them, they work well, but can be tricky to set up. As long as the price is right, they are definitely worth purchasing.

The only thing to take notice of is the fact that getting parts for these is VERY difficult and the membrames have a habit of splitting. The aircleaners suggest they came from a Fiat.

A decent set can go for a few hundred pounds over here, the Fiat guys go mad for them so they tend to make good money. They are a great carb giving quite a bit of torque down the bottom end but can be a pig to set up, they sound fantastic though!!
Service bits are available from www.dellorto.com but aren't cheap and the guys there don't seem to know much about them other than what they read in the parts catalogues.
It looks like the linkage is missing, which is not the same as the SU linkage, although I'm sure something can be fabricated using the SU parts.
If you win them drop me a PM as I have some scans from various parts catalogues.
