Ha, ha, You need STRONG arms to wield a LL Pitboard. I think the backing board is made of depleted uranium!

Well done for snapping those Tim and getting Norman to attempt to look normal. . Still can't believe those two have gone. :(

A few weeks before Norman died I sat down with him and went through an article we were planning which I'll complete early in the new year. Some nice pictures too.

When your wife get tired of holding the pitboard, the fallback plan is enlist a touring car legend to signal his teammate !

Final invitations now sent out.
I didn’t even make this last 60.
I wonder how many successful entrants haven’t even got a rolling chassis yet?

Two heats on Saturday and a final on Sunday. Where the hell they're gonna put 60 race Minis I don't know! And YMJ , no, quite a few don't have paint on their shells yet!

Should be an epic battle, some very quick lads/cars in the second batch of 30 cars now invited, just getting into the final will be an achievement!

Not this year, it clashes with the BTCC! . But yes The first couple of laps in all three races is gonna be tight! The likes of Endaf, Swifty, Lewis, Middlhurst, Padmore and Curley aren’t there for a ‘day out’ like we are. . Expect lots of black circles on the paint.

Lets hope they all knock themselves off in the first lap or two & allow some real Club racers a chance to shine.

Damn right. Although...that's a bit unfair on Endaf and a few others, who deserve a run at GW more than most.
I suspect however, we'll still see the same-old-faces though plus a number of Goodwood Specials.
Meanwhile my car, freshly refurbed and dyno'd sits in it's lair....waiting for that last minute call
