Hi All,
Thought I'd post some pics of my project - it's a '67 Morris Cooper. It was dispatched in Feb 1967 to Stewart & Ardern Limited, Acton. I'm a novice at this so have no idea how original it is. Original colour was OEW with black roof and red brocade interior - we'll be restoring it to that.
Finished the engine and gearbox rebuild last year - it's got (what appears to be) a correct 998 which is +20, running on standard carbs with an evolution cam and Maniflow exhaust. Gearbox is 22G68 remote 3 synchro.
With some help from friends we've taken in to bits, now working on shell and have to tidy up some inside that were replaced badly before.
I'm building it to use and appreciate it won't be anywhere near perfect but would welcome any tips or observations - it is much easier to fix things now rather than after we've painted it.
Many thanks, Mike

Oooh this has loads of potential. Is it going to be stock or a little sporting as befits it’s supplying dealer?

Engine is supposed to be slightly tweaked but nothing crazy - for road use. In terms of look - I am aiming for something like this. Wonder if anyone on the forum is the proud owner??

Similar theme to mine, but with a little more of a rally vibe as befits its history
