Did the family keep the car then Pete, yeah ?, are they going to use it ? , i found another post on the forum from 2015 when it was for sale then withdrawn by the family

from the you tube clip it looks like they have done a full restoration on the car, rather than a sympathetical mechanical renovation

As I said in the other thread, a mechanical overhaul and leave the rest, it doesn't look like that's what has happened but if you want to use the car in modern events then changes have to be made

Fantastic car. Nice to see it remained within the family, rather than being sold on. Crazy that it ran in the Wendy Wools during the 80s when you consider the spec of the rest of the field. I guess in terms of eligibility that was probably one of the only options.
