Been slowly plodding along - not easy now I'm away most of the week for work.
However with only a few weeks left until its debut show we must press on.

So one weekend the engine went in:

And a couple of weekends later everything under the bonnet was about finshed and after a bit of dizzy twiddling she came back to life.
Now looks like this:

Well today was show day! The weather was a bit poor, some very light spitting showers with dry spells in between and just one bit of heavyish rain for 10 minutes. So not a bad day but enough to put off a lot of public visitors.

Had a poke around Richspec's 7 port - nice looking bit of kit which looks like it would go well. That Arden head just looks so 'right'.

Not got many photos but here are a selct few for now:

Trailered it there to keep the underneath from getting too wet - there were a few flooded roads about

Looked the part though after a last minute buff:

and with a bit of sun!:

And couldn't resist a team shot:

Aye, saw this today and very nice in the flesh it is too :) I've got a couple of photos which I'll post up tomorrow.

It was a pity about the weather, it really affected the turnout, we were down from ten cars to four! We had my 8 port  a 1071 S, a mini 30 and my brothers 8 port :)

I'm away from home with work, but apparently a message has been left on the answer machine from a freelance journo working for MiniWorld who wants to do a feature!
