Hi all i have a 998cc mini and want to fit a spider drive camshaft and pump from a 1275 engine, now it's too long for the 998 so i've heard there is a spacer plate for this?
Also i've heard i would need to drill and tap the holes in the block, i imagine i can use one hole from the 1275 pump as it lines up, just then drill the opposite one out so it would fit?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Evan.

Could someone with access to a CNC just make a batch? It's got to be the easiest bit to manufacture.

Somerford Mini list the plate. Is it available from them?
