Ahhh I never realised that, POP 22 (an ERA Mini Coupe) must have had two seperate conversions done on it. The one in your first pic and then the 2nd modification to it when the front end was done and roof lowered? The latter conversion must have been done very shortly after the first pic though cos I'm sure I have early 60s pics of it with the front end done! Or m I missing something??

I hadn't seen that picture of POP 22 with the Alfa grille before I found it today on the interweb. I have seen the early pictures with the lower roof and modified front but now I can not find them. The colour picture is one that I took at Beaulieu in 2011.

As far as I can see the green POP22 is another Mini conversion.

The black and white is in, see Maximum Mini 2 New ERA Mini.
Jeroen Booij did told me this just now

Sorting through some old pics with my dad. He reckons he took it in the late 60’s probably in North Wales. If anyone has any ideas on the rally/car/driver we’d be really interested.

Thanks, Mike.
