IMM 2011

Post by wolseley 1000 »

Hi, took a trip to Swizzerland last weekend and attended the IMM 2011 as a daily guest. Here are some pix of my most favorite cars there. And YES, we had a few beers and some lecker cheese bread there.......... :D http://s628.photobucket.com/albums/uu1/ ... C00209.jpg

wolseley 1000,

How much time did you spend in SA? Or are you an SA exile living in Austria?

Your use of lecker makes me wonder.

Looks like the IMM was a jawl ;-)

Mark,

to be honest, my first visit to S.A. dates back to Oct 1989, very strange time there....
After several holidays over there I got involved with the grandchild of your Dr. Livingstone and married the girl in 1998. So, the interesting thing is that there are a few afrikaans words that sound quite like german words with sometimes the same sometimes different meaning. "lecker" for example is the same in german! As far as it concerns my person I´m austrian born and quite happy with it....... ;)
