Brake light problem

Hi guys,

Got a fault with the l/h tail lamp on my car - when i press the brake with lights on it goes out completely and there's no brake light either.

Any ideas - the wiring seems OK and i dont have the same problem with the r/h unit.

change the bulb 1st then make sure you have power at the light and check the earth
should be an easy fix
