Oil cooler hose

Post by abri »

I have an oil cooler hose that was cut by a previous owner. It is the one that connects the oil filter with the cooler (with the angled metal pipe piece). I would like to know...what is the length of the visible part of the rubber section of this hose?

Can anyone measure it for me?

If it's for a Cooper S with the cooler behind the grill fixed to the front panel it is 190mm long, or as near as dammit.

Thanks InimiaD. Yes, its the rubber and metal type that goes with the front mounted 13 row cooler.

Just to confirm, the 190mm is just the rubber section....without the metal bits at the ends? I'm double checking because I will have to have it made up correctly.

Yes, 190 mm between the metal unions, or brass with my example.

Thanks a lot. Looks like a significant section was cut out of mine then.
