Keith's 'Blue Lena' came up for auction a while back, if only it could talk, what tales it could tell...

He had another S3 Flying Spur in the '70s in which he crashed and did a runner, leaving one of his passengers to deal with the aftermath!

The 250 GTO with the '64 body (EYX 75C) is about to come up for auction, the estimate is $45,000,000-$60,000,000.

It is chassis No.3414 and at the time of the picture was owned by Jack Le Fort.

The Gala Cosmetics factory and tower was a local landmark which stood beside the southbound carriageway of the A3 Kingston by-pass 1945-83. If you look at the period Gala job advert above the building and tower with the black diamond shape sign can also be seen in the background of the photo with John Cooper overtaking a double decker bus.....the Gala site is now occupied by modern industrial buildings and offices.

The Death Star is situated at the Farnesina Palace in Rome. Originally the sculpture was part of the Italian Pavilion at 1967 Montreal EXPO and was created by Arnaldo Pomodoro

Yep that's the one - been driving past it for nearly thirty years and never seen any signs of life whatsoever. It came up for sale a while ago, out of my league though sadly.

That Ferrari GTO on JAP wheels was Jack Le Fort's, at Brighton Speed Trials in 1968. Its in front of my Unipower at the '68 Boxing day sprint in this photo...
