very nice, razor sharp gaps on the doors as well, looks very well done.

Are there pics of the restoration in progress.

I like mk3's some they are the watered down version of the S family, i think they are the wolf in sheep's clothing as they look very similar to a standard mini.
The best repairs go un-noticed

Yes I agree, back in 2009, we got a unrestored MK III S to attend Copenhagen Classic Auto Jumble.

All the Cooper & S owners gathered around the car, and were checking details, when the Danish Rally Champ (1971 in a Cooper S) came over, and asked why everybody was SOO interested in that "plain - normal" Mini ??
he had never seen a MK III S in his life, and was very surpriced that a car he thought was a std 1000 Mini, was infact "the real thing" ;)

Its the center car in picture, the other 2 are a very late MK II S (also unrestored) and the Red/Black MK I belongs to the former rally champ.
