found this on ebay,NOS 5 bolt bumper, starting at £100, bargain from what matted paid to get his refurbished. bet it will not stay that low, as things seem to be going for silly money these days like that works bonnet, £1500 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice, rare item, but personally, would I spend £100 on a bumper? Nah! I'd buy engine tuning bits & have a couple of beers with my mates out of the £26 postage cost!

Oh so you look for some nice bumpers and can't find any spend far too much money getting some refurbed and then 2 come along would you believe it!!! :lol:

So if I want a spare how much do you want for yours 65Austin? PM your price please.

it has come to my attention that this may be an aftermarket bumper. the lip where the bumper mounts is cut away on both ends before the last stud (see photo) and on a genuine BMC bumper this lip is solid all the way? can anyone verify this for me, is this a Rover part? just trying to come up with a fair value. the bumper is high quality, i purchased this in 1988 from a mini parts supplier.

The woven black sticky protection on the front is the same as I had on some genuine nos rover bumpers, although that is no proof, I also have a 5 bolt bumper that is the same design.
